Monika & Chess

Monika started to play competitive chess in 2011, and her first tournament was the British Chess Championship 2014 and she has been actively playing tournaments. Monika founded and organised the first mixed gender all-play all GMs chess tournament Checkmate Show in 2015 filmed in Malta- Gozo where she has created the chess club at Gozo Sports Complex and organising children and adult chess tournaments. In 2016 she assembled and filmed the second season Checkmate Show in London. Monika gave a talk about the benefits of using media in chess education at the London Chess Conference 2017. Monika has not been playing competitive chess for a while as her cancer treatments and busy filming work been holding her back but she will be back soon. Watch out COMING SOON!
